Overview

What we built and why.

Pouch is a multi-tenant package-forwarding and freight-consolidation platform. It gives freight and cargo agencies — the kind of business that receives packages at a U.S. hub and forwards them on to customers across Central America — a single system to run intake, customer accounts, shipment tracking and billing, instead of juggling spreadsheets and manual logs.

The platform is built around a network hierarchy: each partner agency operates as its own "Network Group" with its own branding, admins and customer base, all managed centrally by TzExperts' Super Admin layer. Warehouse staff log incoming packages through a guided intake flow, customers and agencies get self-service onboarding, and every shipment is tracked from intake to delivery status.

The interface is fully bilingual (English/Spanish) to match the cross-border customer base it serves.

Business Goal

What success needed to look like.

Replace manual, spreadsheet-based package tracking with a real-time platform that could scale across multiple partner freight agencies at once — without each one needing its own custom software. The system needed to support internal staff, direct customers and partner agencies as distinct roles, each with their own permissions and views.

The Challenge

What made this hard.

Multi-tenancy at scale

Multiple independent freight agencies needed to operate under one platform — each with its own customers, operators and branding — without data leaking between them.

High shipment volume

With thousands of packages moving through the system, search, filtering and export needed to stay fast and precise at real operational scale.

Non-technical warehouse staff

Package intake happens on the warehouse floor, not at a desk — the workflow had to be simple enough for staff to log a package correctly in seconds, including photo capture.

Our Solution

How we approached it.

We structured the platform around a clear role hierarchy — Super Admin, Network Groups, Global Operators, Customers and Agencies — so every account only sees what's relevant to it. On top of that, we built a guided, low-friction intake workflow for warehouse staff and a searchable, exportable shipment ledger for everyone managing the flow of packages.

UX / UI Approach

A dark, high-contrast operations dashboard optimized for fast scanning of tables and statuses, with a guided step-by-step flow for the highest-frequency task: logging a new package.

Role-Based Architecture

A permissions model that cleanly separates Super Admin, Network Group Admins, Global Operators, Customers and Agencies, so each partner agency's data stays scoped to that agency.

Built for Daily Operations

Every core screen — intake, records, billing, alerts — was designed around the real, repetitive workflow of a freight-forwarding business, not a generic CRM template.
